Definitive sentencing guidelines for the sentencing of the offence of sale of knives etc to persons under 18 were published on 15 February 2023 and the online sentencing guidelines now contains these in a purple colour scheme prior to them coming into force in all courts in England and Wales on 1 April 2023. Once the new guidelines are in force, the colour scheme will go to blue and old guidelines will be removed.
