Thank you for taking the time to complete this form – it is greatly appreciated by the Sentencing Council. We are currently collecting data on a variety of guidelines in the magistrates’ courts. The Council kindly asks you to complete a form each time you sentence one of the following offences:

• In the magistrates’ court:
  • Common assault and racially/religiously aggravated common assault;
  • Assault on an emergency worker;
  • Assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and racially/religiously aggravated ABH;
  • Non-domestic burglary;
  • Dangerous driving.
