Robbery sentencing guideline survey in the Crown Court

The Sentencing Council is currently collecting data on the Robbery guidelines, effective from April 2016. You are being asked to complete this survey as part of the Council’s assessment of these guidelines, to help us monitor and understand how these guidelines influence sentencing.

This form has been designed to cover the following types of Robbery:

• Robbery – dwelling – Theft Act 1968, s.8(1)
• Robbery – professionally planned commercial – Theft Act 1968, s.8(1)
• Robbery – street and less sophisticated commercial – Theft Act 1968, s.8(1)
