We are currently collecting data on a variety of guidelines in both the magistrates’ courts and all locations of the Crown Court. The Council kindly asks you to complete a form each time you sentence one of the following offences:

In the magistrates’ court:

  • Common assault and racially/ religiously aggravated common assault;
  • Assault on an emergency worker.

In the Crown Court:

  • Causing GBH and racially/ religiously aggravated GBH
  • Causing GBH with intent
  • Domestic burglary
  • Supply/ possession with intent to supply a class A and class B drug;

Across all magistrates’ courts and all locations of the Crown Court:

  • Assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and racially/ religiously aggravated ABH;
  • Non-domestic burglary;
  • Dangerous driving.
