Sentencing Council publishes Business Plan

The Sentencing Council has published a business plan setting out its aims and objectives for 2017/18. These aims and objectives include publishing three definitive guidelines: Breach Offences, Bladed Articles and Offensive Weapons and Terrorism, and continuing work to prepare, and consult on, seven proposed guidelines covering: intimidatory offences; offences where domestic abuse is a feature; child cruelty offences; manslaughter; public order offences; and arson and criminal damage.
