The Sentencing Council has published data tables, detailing recent sentencing trends for the offence of unauthorised use of a trade mark. This is in preparation for the launch of the Council’s Unauthorised use of a trade mark definitive guidelines, which will be published tomorrow (Thursday 5 August 2021).

The data tables include statistics on volumes and sentencing outcomes for the offence covered by the definitive guidelines which cover both individuals and organisations.
